Avdo was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina to Bosniak parents, and is fluent in Bosnian, Croatian, and Serbian.
His family relocated to the Eastbourne area in 1994, where they have remained ever since. After completing a degree in Business at the University of Bedfordshire, Avdo returned to Eastbourne, drawn back by his strong connection to the area.
He joined Advanta in 2008, qualifying as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2014 and becoming a Chartered Accountant in 2020.
Avdo works closely with small and medium-sized businesses, with a particular focus on tax planning to help clients minimise their tax liabilities. He also specialises in international matters, advising both UK based individuals and businesses expanding overseas, as well as foreign individuals and businesses entering the UK market.
A lifelong sports enthusiast, Avdo stays active by regularly going to the gym, playing tennis, football and golf, albeit with varying degrees of success.
