Michael Cottingham

Michael was born, raised and educated in the Hailsham area. He has been in professional practice in the area since the 1970’s and became a founding director of Advanta in 2005.

Michael’s client base comprises individuals and businesses of all sizes. Having been brought up on a farm, he specialises in the agricultural / horticultural industry as well as building contracting businesses. He enjoys working with the businesses to help them meet their objectives and undertaking tax planning to ensure that their tax liabilities are minimised.

Michael enjoys most sports especially having participated in rugby, football and cricket. His two children have been brought up enjoying sports with Hannah playing cricket for Sussex and Adam playing rugby for Sussex.
